Where Dreams of Kindness comes from.
Kindness is everywhere, but rarely organized. Most acts of generosity happen in private and never reach the people who need them most.
Dreams of Kindness was founded in August 2024 by Demilo Alanis to change that. To take the compassion that already exists in communities and turn it into systems that actually move resources, hours, and care to where they’re needed.
We’re not trying to replace kindness. We’re trying to scale it.

We're a nonprofit, but we're built like a system. Three layers power everything we do.

Every initiative has a defined ask, a defined cost, and a defined outcome. Hot meals at $5. Recovered goods at $50/shipment. No vague good-doing.

Prosocial infrastructure
Volunteer hours, kindness points, and partner redemptions all run through Kindness Counts IO — a verification platform that makes every act measurable.

Partner network
Restaurants, warehouses, content creators, retailers. Kindness scales because it’s a relay, not a solo act. We power the relay.
